Passing through the little town of San Miniato, we stopped for lunch at Trattoria Canapone. We were greeted warmly by the manager and server. We sat outside to dine. My husband and I shared the melon and prosciutto to start. The melon was a canary melon, so sweet. I love the sweetness of the melon against the saltiness of the prosciutto. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara and hubby had the Tortelloni Bolognese for lunch. Both dishes were delicious. Hubby’s actually was amazing! I’m glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. Molto Buona!

Excellent food presented professionally. We tried both lunch and dinner and both were excellent. The outdoor seating was cozy with a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend the pecorino cheese plate with various jams and honey. Also recommend to try the local truffle based seasonal pasta dishes. Decent selection of Tuscan wines.

I was there yasterday...the food was very good...i had tagliata with fresh white truffle...it was amaizing.. Also had a bottle of the house white wine....its light and tasty I reccomend the place

Very personalized service. Wonderful fried mushrooms in season...fresh fruit salad was delicious...had the best lasagna I have ever had, very thin pasta, excellent sauce...good wine. Lovely, memorable meal.
